10 reclaimed Belgian Bluestone blocks
20 wooden toy blocks
Varying dimensions
Each block: 84 × 29,5 × 10cm
Rotunda is a work that consist of two curved bluestone border stones that were reclaimed from the demolished city music pavilion of Blankenberge (Belgium). They can be put into 5 different positions (Echappé, Plié, Port de bras, Jeté and Pointe), each carefully balanced by the same 4 small triangular wooden toy blocks.
The positions refer to ballet-positions from Conrad’s dance background and the musical origins of the stones.
